Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries‘ marriage didn’t work out, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re in for dirty divorce.
On Tuesday, Kardashian’s lawyer filed a responsive declaration saying the E! star has no opposition to Humphries’ divorce lawyer.
A hearing will be held March 12 regarding whether the judge will approve the NBA star’s request to have Lee Hutton, an attorney from Minnesota, representing him in the divorce in California.
Hutton, who represents a number of pro athletes and has counseled Humphries on other matters over the years, doesn’t specialize in family law. He won’t be the only one in Humphries’ corner in court, though: the athlete will also be represented by the Los Angeles counsel he’s already retained, Laurence R. Goldsman with Freid and Goldsman.
