Kim Kardashian's Releases New Emoji Based On Herself, and Promptly Breaks The Apple Store After Launch

Her behind broke the internet, and now it seems Kim Kardashian’s emoji keyboard has broken the App Store.

The “Kimoji” keyboard, which features cartoon depictions on Kim Kardashian’s oft-memed crying face and the word “basic” in a speech bubble, was released on the Apple Store on Monday, however, many of the reality star’s fans have taken to Twitter to complain they were unable to download it.

Luckily, Kardashian, 35, was on hand to calm her followers, telling them that the keyboard’s popularity had affected the App Store.

Kim Kardashian fans have struggled to download the Kimoji keyboard due to what the reality star has termed “massive downloads”.

The Selfish author added that her tech team was aware of the issue, which she attributed to “massive downloads”.

Kardashian announced the Kimoji keyboard on in an Instagram post on Sunday.

Among the Kim-themed emoji shown in the teaser image were a hairdryer, a donut, a hand with black nail polish and a car which looks a lot like the 2015 Rolls Royce Phantom she bought in April.

If you feel like sending a picture of Kim Kardashian’s bare bottom to one of your contacts, the Kimoji keyboard gives you two options (one with a white G-string, the other with a black).

One of the most useful Kimoji may prove to be the selfie, a relatively mainstream concept which is yet to appear on the emoji keyboard.

Some of the emoji seem to represent other members of the Kardashian-West clan: the sneaker could be seen as a nod to her husband Kanye West’s shoe collaboration with Adidas, while the picture of pregnant Kim in her characteristically form-fitting maternity wear likely represents her role as mother to North, 2, and newborn Saint.

A prolific social media user, Kardashian does enjoy writing with emoji.

Just two weeks ago she announced Saint’s birth with an Instagram post depicting her now four-strong family in emoji.
