This past season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians gave us a glimmer of hope that Bruce and Kris Jenner might reconcile, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards. TMZ reports Kris has upgraded their legal separation, filing a petition to divorce on September 22.
According to court records, Kris and Bruce are obtaining a pro se divorce, meaning they’ve reached an agreement on the division of their property and wealth without going to court and racking up hundreds of billable hours for their lawyers. The fact that they’ve been able to do so, despite the fact that they did not secure a prenup before they got hitched, makes us inclined to believe this split is truly as amicable as they claim!
According to the terms they’ve agreed upon, neither Kris nor Bruce will receive spousal support and they will retain joint custody of their sole minor child, Kylie, who turned 17 in August. TMZ adds that because they filed for a legal separation in June 2013, any income Kris has posted since then is hers alone.
We kinda doubt Bruce will be hurting too much, though. Due to the many endorsements the former Olympian racked up in the ‘70s and ‘80s, he’s more than set for life, with a current estimated wealth of $100 million. Meanwhile, Kris is sitting pretty on her own. As momager to six cash cows, she gets a 10 percent cut of everything Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie earn!
