Lady Gaga’s Special Way Of Sending Good Wishes To Clarence Clemons

Lady Gaga maybe many things, but there’s one thing she’s definitely not: oblivious to others suffering! That’s why early this morning, Miss Gaga’s first tweet was dedicated to Clarence Clemons, the legendary saxophonist who suffered a stroke last night in Florida.

Gaga asked her fans for support in a very unconventional and may we say, not very effective way:

“Little monsters, my very close friend +musician on The Edge of Glory, Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get well videos?”

Clarence Clemons has had two brain surgeries but is “responsive and in stable condition,” according to the Backstreets site.

Members of E Street Band were advised to come down to Florida as soon as possible as details of the stroke began to be reported on several sites and networks. One report stated that Clemons was completely paralyzed on the left side of his body.

In less than an hour Lady Gaga got over a hundred responses and re-tweets.

Some of them even asked Gaga to return the favor:

“I’ll do a video if you follow me” wrote one fan.

Another one asked: “Will you watch it?” and yet another fan commented: “I’ll make the video… please follow me mommy”

Clemons‘ nephew, saxophonist Jake Clemons, chose Facebook instead of Twitter to garner support today saying: “Please do not lose hope!”

Our best wishes to Clemons to get well very soon!
