Acclaimed Latin Chefs Will Compete For The ‘National Pork Board Critics’ Choice Award’ At The ‘Swine and Wine’ Event During Food Network and Cooking Channel’s ‘South Beach Wine & Food Festival’ (SOBEWFF).
On Saturday, February 22nd the NATIONAL PORK BOARD will present the Goya Foods’ ‘Swine and Wine’ event during the Food Network and Cooking Channel’s ‘South Beach Wine & Food Festival’ (SOBEWFF). This annual event held at the legendary, Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida showcases the latest pork dishes created by all-star chefs. This year, the best of the pork-centric tapas dishes will be selected to receive top honors during the ‘National Pork Board Critics’ Choice Awards‘ where three will be lucky to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.They will also host an entertainment and social media lounge where celebrity chefs including Chef José Mendín (Pubbelly) and Chef Doreen Colondres will be on hand to interact with guests and conduct media interviews.
In addition to his participation at ‘Swine and Wine’, Chef José Mendín will be adding a new pork-inspired recipe, ‘Pastelon de Lechon’ to his Pubbelly Restaurant menu during the week of the SOBEWFF as part of his collaboration with the National Pork Board’s ‘Pork Te Inspira’ Spanish language platform.
