With the new year, comes plenty of new Tr3s faves to keep your eye on. And one in particular, is part-Dominican actress Monica Raymund. She helped pull in over eight million viewers to NBC’s Chicago Fire last week and is kicking off a very impressive movie career.
Raymund, who first rose to fame on shows like Law & Order and Lie To Me, recently starred alongside Richard Gere in the critically-acclaimed film Aribtrage. And her role as Gabriela Dawson on Fire has become a major hit with fans.
Chicago Fire reached a series high last Wednesday, beating popular shows like CSI and Nashville. It also left fans with some very steamy scenes between Monica and co-star Charlie Barnett.
We imagine her character will continue to build buzz as the season progresses. And with summer hiatus right around the corner, let’s hope Monica stays busy and books a few more blockbuster movie gigs.
