Prodigy, of the infamous hip hop music group/duo Mobb Deep dies in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.
His publicist reports that he was hospitalized “a few days ago in Vegas after a Mobb Deep performance for complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis. As most of his fans know, Prodigy battled the disease since birth.”
Cause of death has not been determined as of yet.
Mobb Deep, was a part of the ‘Art of Rap‘ tour, along with DMX, Ghostface Killah, KRS-One, Ice-T, and a few others where they perform this past
DJs such as DJ Premier, DJ Scratch, Questlove, DJ Khaled, DJ Green Lantern, DJ SuperStar Jay, DJ Mister Cee, DJ Suss One, and other celebrities expressed their condolences and love for the one of a kind rapper.
