Mark Jones, a former tour bus driver for Lil Wayne, is suing the Young Money MC in a New York court for confinement, emotional distress and loss of personal dignity, according to Page Six of the nypost.com. The suit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.
In his lawsuit, Jones says Wayne threatened to kill him and forced him to drive him to his hotel with a gun pointed at him. The incident took place after a concert at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in New York on August 8th. Jones says that he told Wayne they needed to refuel, but Wayne started yelling and cursing and ordered him to take him to the hotel. The rapper called the passengers from the back of the bus to the front of a bus, and they pointed the gun at the driver at close range. Jones says Wayne threatened to pistol whip and kill him.
Lil Wayne served a year in jail back in 2010 on a weapons charge. This latest suit could mean more trouble for the rapper. Reps for both Lil Wayne and Mark Jones did not respond to calls for comment.
