The Philadelphia-based filmmaker has said that “Split” is the second of a trilogy starting with 2000’s “Unbreakable.” He told USA Today he’s “pretty excited” about the outline he’s got so far. “It’s very big, so that scares me a little.”
“Split” was produced by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions and the director’s Blinding Edge Pictures on a reported $9 million budget. Universal Pictures is distributing the film in North America.
