Wowing the crowd with his choreography, his smiles and his kisses to female fans, Marc Anthony commanded the stage of imon Bolívar Metropolitan Park stage in Bogotá, Colombia, Saturday night.
“I saw him when he was passing through the stage, but I think because he split up the day before, he didn’t allow anyone to talk to him or anyone to come to his dressing room,” Spanish TV presenter Eva Rey tells PEOPLE.
Rey was scheduled to introduce Anthony Friday night at a pre-show party, only Anthony did not appear.
“The people who worked with him said he was a little bit upset, so because of that, they tried to keep everybody from him,” says Rey.
Anthony also kept to himself in his hotel room, in stark contrast to other times he’s been in town, another source tells PEOPLE. “Everything he ordered was by room service. He was distant from people.”
But he didn’t hold back came time to face the fans at the concert, which was no surprise to his guitarist, Mario Sebastian.
“He’s a performer. He is as confident as all the band members are,” Sebastian tells PEOPLE. “The show always will go on.”
