It’s safe to say Mariah Carey invented Christmas.
I mean, who can forget her 1994 album which took holiday spirit to a whole other level with the hit track, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Or the time when the powerhouse singer was extra AF when she rocked a ginormous Christmas tree in her house back in October.
But things seem a little rocky this holiday season for the Queen of Christmas. The mother-of-two, who had already canceled initial tour dates due to an upper respiratory infection, postponed additional show on her “All I Want For Christmas is You” tour. The singer took to Instagram to share the news.
“Like most, I’m thankful for my overall health… for which I need a bit more time to get right. Doctors have ordered a few extra days of rest before I can finally fly to New York and take the stage for my Christmas tour. While this news disappoints me to share, I am grateful to be on the mend and for the support from all of you,” Carey told her 6.2 million followers.
The tour will resume on December 2 in New York and end on December 22 in Las Vegas.
