Meghan Trainor Tears Down Her 'Me Too' Video After Seeing Herself Photoshopped

Two years ago, Meghan Trainor railed against Photoshop in her breakout single, “All About That Bass,” singing, “We know that shit ain’t real/ Come on now, make it stop.” Now, the 22-year-old is unfortunately still having to fight against ridiculous body image standards. Just hours after her “Me Too” video premiered on Monday, Trainor had it yanked from the internet upon discovering her body had been digitally altered.

“Hey guys, I took down the ‘Me Too’ video because they Photoshopped the crap out of me,” she explained to fans in a series of Snapchat clips. “I’m so sick of it and I’m over it, so I took it down until they fix it.

“My waist is not that teeny,” she continued. “I had a bomb waist that night, I don’t know why they didn’t like my waist, but I didn’t approve that video and it went out for the world, so I’m embarrassed.”

Trainor further explained that the video — in which she paraded around L.A. in a giraffe onesie and then wore a striking blue gown for a big dance number — is one of her favorites she’s ever done, and she’s hoping her team will fix it “A$AP Rocky.”

Props to Trainor for standing up for herself — she’s clearly still all about that bass, and still sticking with what she believes.
