After slamming his forthcoming flick, ‘Passion Play,’ and co-star Megan Fox at a ‘Scream 4’ screening, Mickey Rourke is back with his tail between his legs, apologizing for his remarks.
“When I talked to you, I was at a party,” he told Vulture, who originally reported his off-color comments. “It was loud and crowded, I was in a sh**ty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter. Mitch [Glazer, ‘Passion Play’ director] is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow.”
So why is Rourke singing such a different tune when it comes to his forthcoming project? Is the actor just now getting wind of what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you or, as we like to call it, the Charlie Sheen affect? But it seems that Rourke doesn’t exactly know why he went off on the movie and his co-star.
“I don’t know why I said that stupid sh-t. I love Mitch, I love Megan. My bad.”
We have a feeling that Fox is more than understanding — she’s no stranger to dissing directors. She was booted from the ‘Transformers’ franchise after a slew of not-so-nice comments about the films’ director, Michael Bay.
