MIAMI – Dance fever returns to the Univision Network in the form of “Mira Quién Baila” (Look Who’s Dancing), the phenomenally successful celebrity dance competition, on Sunday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). MQB is a production of Endemol Shine Latino with Univision Studios.
Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza are back to host the fifth edition of MQB, joined for the first time by Jomari Goyso, who will cover the behind-the-scenes action and the latest buzz from social media. Another addition to the new season of MQB is star choreographer Rodrigo Basurto, who has worked on such hits as “America’s Got Talent,” “American Idol” and “La Banda.” Basurto’s choreography will mix classic ballroom dancing techniques with a Latin and urban flow to make this new season more danceable, passionate and contemporary than ever.
“We are beyond excited for ‘Mira Quién Baila’s’ comeback which, without a doubt, will bring families together, not just on the edge of their seats, but on their feet dancing along every Sunday night,” said Lourdes Díaz, Univision’s president of Entertainment.
Starting Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31, the 10 celebrity contestants who will compete for a $50,000 grand prize for a charity of their choice will be announced. The names will be revealed via social media platforms and Univision shows including “Despierta América” (Wake Up, America), “El Gordo y la Flaca” (The Scoop and the Skinny), “Primer Impacto” (First Impact), and “República Deportiva” (Sports Republic). Then, the three new show judges will be announced on Friday, September 1.
