Being a celebrity isn’t always easy, especially when you’re constantly being approached for photos and autographs at the most inconvenient times. Niall Horan from One Direction was left frustrated after a fan refused to respect his wishes for no photos and secretly snapped him as he slept on a plane.
He’d been feeling unwell and had a 9 hour flight to catch from London to Chicago where he was going to watch pal Ellie Goulding perform at Lollapalooza music festival. Understandably, he kindly told a fan he was seated next to that he wasn’t up to taking any selfies at the time, but happily chatted with them during the journey.
He decided to get some shut-eye during the flight, and that was when the fan decided to take a sneaky shot as he rested and subsequently posted it all over social media.
I think this shit is unreal. I mean if you can't sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can u do pic.twitter.com/3UvgLpHOcE

It wasn’t long before Niall was alerted to the picture upload and he took to Twitter to vent his anger. ‘I think this shit is unreal’, he told his followers. ‘I mean if you can’t sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can you do?’
He’s not the only celebrity that has been a little sensitive about selfies with fans recently. Justin Bieber cancelled the meet and greets at his concerts because he found it all very draining; he even got into a bit of a tussle when he refused fan photos earlier this year when he was in Cleveland during the NBA Finals.
Sometimes stars just need some peace and privacy!
