As I was surfing the web I came across a website regarding The Eurovision Song Contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the longest running television shows in the world. After 54 runnings, the contest is one of the most typical European traditions and without doubt, Europe’s favorite TV show! Think American Idol meets Ms. Universe.
The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition held among active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Each member country submits a song to be performed on live television and then casts votes for the other countries’ songs to determine the most popular song in the competition. Each country participates via one of their national EBU-member television stations, whose task it is to select a singer and a song to represent their country in the international competition
This year the 43 submitted songs. During the two part broadcast the 40 participants have been cut to two groups and only 10 Finalist chosen to compete on Saturday May 14th at 21:00 CET. The Grand Final will be broadcast live in all participation countries or you can watch online at www.Eurovision.TV
