Renowned Los Angeles based film trailer composer and music producer J2 is excited to announce the release of his new EP Last Of The Warriors Vol. 2. J2 steps away from his moniker as “The King Of Re-imaginations” to focus more on his solo project and brand. Synth heavy and anthemic, Last Of The Warriors Vol. 2 pays homage to J2’s signature flavor while breaking new ground with his creative production. Emotionally charged and deeply passionate, the EP touches on significant topics such as spirituality and identity. Collaborating with unsigned artists such as west coast rapper Roger Will and gifted vocalist Cooper Phillip, J2 powerfully portrays his unique artistic vision. Sonically, Last Of The Warriors Vol. 2 is a myriad of diverse styles and genres including R&B, hip-hop, electronica, gospel, and soul. Songs featured on Last of The Warriors Vol. 1 have gone on to earn over 100M streams across YouTube and all major DSPs and attain more than 30 syncs in trailers, TV promos, and in-show use.

About J2:
Whether it’s pop, hip-hop, trap, rock, cinematic, epic trailer music or anything in between, J2 brings his signature sound to music across all genres barriers. Coming from a musical family, Jay AKA J2 was first introduced to music at the age of 7; his father was one of the first pioneers of Bhangra music in the United Kingdom and both his grandfather and great-grandfather were celebrated Tabla players. J2 first burst into the scene when he won the prestigious Ministry of Sound DJ Idol Competition in 2002. Since then J2 has entrenched his productions in the highly coveted film and TV industries; his songs can be heard in movies, trailers, video games, TV Shows, and advertisements for the likes of Grey’s Anatomy, The Hunger GamesTomorrowland, and Warcraft. J2 has created a brand for his unique renditions and epic productions of modern songs called “The Iconic Series.” They have landed in coveted media such as the Super Bowl commercial for the NBC Show “Allegiance” and the Oscar-winning film “Django Unchained” with his version of Johnny Cash’s “Ain’t No Grave,” which was the main title song for the movie’s trailer. With the success of his placements, J2 has released eight collectives of “The Iconic Series” albums that can be found on Apple, Spotify, Deezer, and all major DSPs, building a large following on Shazam in the process. Not only has he mastered these rendition albums but also he has released his original trailer albums that have achieved tremendous success in the Motion Pictures Advertising world.

Most recently J2 has been stepping away from his industry given moniker “The King Of Re-imaginations” to focus on building his artistry as a solo artist and commercial music producer for promising up and coming solo projects. With approximately 1.4M Spotify listeners and 15M streams to date, J2 just dropped Synth Wave Part 1 and will release Last Of The Warriors Vol. 2 as well as Synth Wave Part 2 leading into early 2020. Last Of The Warriors Vol. 2 is the follow up to Last of The Warriors Vol. 1, which was a huge success. Songs from this album synced over 30 times for Movie trailers, TV promos, and in-show use.
