Rose McGowan is in the market for a new agent. The “Charmed” star explained that her recent acting agent fired her after McGowan blasted a casting call for being sexist. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rose McGowan showed up for a casting call asking that actresses wear relatively revealing outfits and her agency dropped her after Rose took to Twitter to blast the call.
As it turns out, McGowan is taking on some pretty big Hollywood names. The agency who dropped Rose was repped by Innovative’s Sheila Wenzel and Steve Muller. It has been reported that Wenzel is no longer with the firm but Muller is still there. It turns out that Wenzel was planning to leave the agency already and her departure has nothing to do with Rose McGowan.
Rose took to Twitter to blast the casting call. Her tweet said,
casting note that came w/script I got today. For real. name of male star rhymes with Madam Panhandler hahahaha I die pic.twitter.com/lCWGTV537t

It turns out that the star of the movie is none other than Adam Sandler. The note McGowan was referring to requested that actresses wear tight black leggings and a form fitting black tank top to the audition. It also suggested that push-up bras were “encouraged.”

It is unclear if McGowan will follow Sheila Wenzel or if she will be looking for another agent to help with her come back to television and film.
McGowan has been busy recently promoting her own short film, “Dawn.” Rose directed the short film which was released on June 21.
