Amy Winehouse almost made a comeback.
The UK-based newspaper, The Sun, reported that Alki David, the entrepreneur who purchased the patent to the 3D technology used to make Tupac’s Coachella hologram, had big plans for the late songstress. It turns out that David wanted to make an Amy Winehouse hologram and take her on the world tour she never did while alive.
“The plan is that Amy will finally tour the world after failing to do so when she was alive. With an orchestra and her hologram, she can take to the stage and fans can see her perform her legendary hits.” a source told The Sun.
Winehouse’s dad, Mitch, however, shot down those plans via Twitter:
No truth in the Hologram story. Utter rubbish as usual. Mitch
