Gente de Zona Set To Close This Conference with a Vibrant Performance
Considered the premier Hispanic new-media event focusing on the United States and Puerto Rico, Hispanicize 2015 covers a wide range of subjects. Now, this conference has formed an alliance with SESAC Latina (www.sesaclatina.com), the fastest-growing performing-rights society in the world. It’s a meeting of the minds that once again demonstrates SESAC Latina’s commitment to publicizing its services in diverse venues.
Ready to kick off its sixth annual gathering, Hispanicize is a national platform for the launch of products, services and associations. Attendees will hear from celebrity speakers representing cinema and other artistic disciplines.
SESAC Latina’s active support for this event furthers Hispanicize’s involvement with the music industry, creating a space for executives, composers, artists and affiliated producers to get together.
In other Hispanicize 2015 activities, Don Francisco (Mario Kreutzberger), the legendary host of Univisión’s long-running Sábado Gigante variety program, is to be honored with the Latinovator Award for his philanthropic work.
Furthermore, several influential and inspirational Latinos from the United States will receive the Positive Impact award, presented by the reigning Miss USA Nia Sánchez and the actor Luis Guzmán.
Taking place from March 16-20 in Miami, Hispanicize (www.hispanicizeevent.com) is expected to bring together over 2,100 Latino thought leaders and innovators in social media, marketing, entrepreneurship, music and cinema. Past speakers at this conference include such emblematic personalities as Rita Moreno, Soledad O’Brien, Carlos Vives, Emilio Estefan, Edward James Olmos and María Elena Salinas.
Hispanicize 2015’s closing festivities, dubbed the Bash in South Beach, are to feature an electrifying performance by the Cuban group Gente de Zona, known worldwide for their collaboration with Enrique Iglesias and Descemer Bueno. The group will be performing its hits at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater.
Other sponsors of Hispanicize 2015 include Univisión Communications, Google, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Toyota.
