LOS ANGELES (April 19, 2019) – SESAC Latina is pleased to announce the signing of Spanish producer and songwriter Antonio “Rayito” Rayo to a worldwide contract.
During the last decade, Rayito has made key creative contributions to chart-topping and award-winning songs. He served as writer and producer of several tracks on Ricky Martin’s GRAMMY®-winning album A Quien Quiera Escuchar (To Whoever Wants To Listen, 2015). The same year, he co-wrote the hit single “Hoy Es Domingo” (Today is Sunday) on Diego Torres’ GRAMMY®-nominated album Buena Vida (Good Life).
In 2017, he co-wrote and co-produced “Me Enamoré” (I Fell in Love), a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Latin Pop Airplay chart for Shakira. Taken from Shakira’s GRAMMY®-winning album El Dorado, this song also climbed to the Top 10 across Latin America and in the European countries of Poland, Romania and Spain.
Rayito also co-wrote the urban-pop viral smash of 2018, “Mi Cama” (My Bed), recorded by the breakout Colombian artist Karol G, with over 750 million views on YouTube. His latest single, the much talked-about track “Punto G,” is also performed by Karol G.
Celeste Zendejas, Director of Creative Services, hailed this milestone in Rayito’s career: “Rayito is a natural virtuoso who works passionately to make his songs memorable and moving. His music has universal appeal and we are eager to help him share his inspiration with the world.”
