VOTO LATINO AND THE HISPANIC HERITAGE FOUNDATION
FOR A CALL TO ACTION VOTING CAMPAIGN
Snow Tha Product, the bilingual Latina rapper, daughter of formerly undocumented Mexican immigrants, is joining forces with labor rights activist Dolores Huerta and several Latino influencers for a call to action voting campaign in collaboration with VOTO LATINO and THE HISPANIC HERITAGE FOUNDATION.
With an immense presence of 27 Million, the Latino community has a deciding vote in today’s political landscape and the stakes are high. This video brings together Latinos of diverse backgrounds under one shared mission; inspiring everyone to participate in the political process. The video features: Dolores Huertas, Snow the Product, Joanna Hausmann, Daniel Fernandez, Jossie Ochoa and Yessica Hernandez-Cruz.
Snow’s latest highly polemical and political song: “Despierta” is the official theme song for this campaign. “Despierta” which is a full Spanish rap song and the first video to be shot in the replica of Youtube space’s oval office.
“For me it was so important to be able to link “Despierta” with the “Voto Latino” campaign as the song is also a call to action to vote for my fans who are also tired of living in a world of stereotypes. Seriously the true message for me is: Go VOTE or don’t complain later”, says Snow who will be heading on a national tour debuting November 2nd. The “BeenWoke Tour” will be a real mix of highly polemical and and fun songs around America’s issues.
The Bilingual Latina with over 1.4 million followers on Facebook, is today one of the most prominent rappers in the industry and is very vocal about Latino issues and wants communities to unite to vote.
