SOFIA REYES JOINS BILLBOARD AND W HOTELS’ NEXT UP NEW ARTIST
Los Angeles, CA – Monday, July 30rd:
After Sofia’s incredible performance at Premios Juventud with Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto, Sofia Reyes just conquered the Spanish market with 3 packed shows in Spain as part of ‘Los 40 Summer Live’ Festival. The event took part in Murcia, Alicante, Valencia where thousands of people attended. Sofia shared the stage with Spanish singer Álvaro Soler and Colombian hit band Piso 21. In addition, Sofía participated at the famous Coca-Cola Music Experience on the Beach Festival that took place in Malaga.
Sofia’s latest global single “1,2,3” is a huge hit in Spain and currently is in rotation in their #1 radio station: Los 40 radio.
The week prior to Sofia’s performances in Spain, the 2018 Kids Choice Awards Mexico nominee, was announced to be Billboard and W Hotels newest rising artist joining the “Next Up: New Artist, New Music program”, joining other incredible artists such as Bebe Rexha. Sofia star kicked off the partnership with an intimate performance in Bogota, Colombia this past July 24th.
But Sofia’s week didn’t stop there, while in Colombia, the Latin pop star received her platinum record certification. “1,2,3” definitely became a huge international hit song receiving Platinum and Gold certifications in over 5 additional countries. See below the full list:
