Spike TV’s Guys’ Choice Awards Crowns Sandra Bullock as ‘Decade of Hotness’ Winner

Spike TV’s Guys’ Choice Awards Crowns Sandra Bullock as 'Decade of Hotness' Winner

The 49-year-old actress was presented with the Decade of Hotness Award at the Sony Pictures Studios, for which she accepted her honor in true Sandra fashion, E! News reports.

Channeling her Miss Congeniality character, Bullock took the stage in a strapless pink Roland Mouret dress and strappy black heels. The brunette beauty’s look was complete when she was adorned with true pageant accessories; a tiara, sash and bouquet of roses for her win.

Flanked by her presenters, Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves, and Matthew McConaughey, Sandra jokingly accepted the award questioning what decade even qualified her.

Always with a bit of humor the Gravity star held on to her antler trophy and quipped, that standing on the stage felt more like her funeral than accepting an award for her looks. She later added that there must have been some mistake, that the winner actually dropped out and they needed an emergency replacement.

The actress then started in on her heartfelt speech saying:

“I’d like to thank the Guys Choice Awards for this- the horns. How many people hold this up and say, ‘I’m so horny!’ I’d like to thank you for this honor. This in an amazing slingshot for a 49-year-old. I’d like to thank every hairstylist and makeup artist for creating the illusion because I didn’t look like this a couple hours ago…I’m just one of the luckiest girls I know and three of the people I’m just so crazy about are right next to me.”

Leading up to her honor the the three actors sung nothing but praises for their mutual co-star.

The Matrix star Keanu Reeves gushed at length about Bullock, who he starred alongside in the action packed thriller, Speed in 1994. Her 1996 A Time to Kill co-star and former boyfriend, Matthew McConaughey got a little personal when he admitted he’d been lucky enough to kiss the Decade of Hotness winner. And British actor Hugh Grant, who Bullock starred with in the 2002 romantic comedy, Two Weeks Notice also dished on his good fortune to know someone as lovely as Sandra.

Though she may have been modest in her speech, it’s really no surprise that the beautiful actress won fair and square last night. Congrats to Sandra!

For all of the other honors, you can watch them when the 2014 Spike TV Guys’ Choice Awards airs on Wed. June 11.
