This summer, BH Tilt Productions & Telemundo Films are proud to present LOWRIDERS staring Demián Bichir, Eva Longoria, Theo Rossi, and Gabriel Chavarria, which will be one of the first films kicking off the cinema summer season on May 12, 2017. “Lowriders” is set against the vibrant backdrop of East LA’s near-spiritual car culture and follows the story of Danny (Chavarria), a talented young street artist caught between the lowrider world inhabited by his old-school father (Bichir) and ex-con brother (Rossi), and the adrenaline-fueled outlet that defines his self-expression.
From Telemundo Films and BH Tilt, “Lowirders” stars Demián Bichir (A Better Life, The Hateful Eight), Eva Longoria (Telenovela, Desperate Housewives), Theo Rossi (Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy), Gabriel Chavarria (East Los High, Freedom Writers), Melissa Benoist (Supergirl, Glee) and Tony Revolori (Dope, The Grand Budapest Hotel). The film was directed by Ricardo de Montreal (Mancora) and produced by Academy Award Winner Brian Grazer and Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Award Winner Jason Blum.
