With will.i.am currently kicking off a solo career, the time seems right for fellow Black Eyed Pea Taboo to do the same. And that’s exactly what he’s planning. But interestingly, Taboo’s next project will be in Spanish and he’ll be bringing along Sie7e for some musical inspiration.
Fresh off his Latin Grammy win for Best New Artist, Sie7e seems primed for some mainstream attention. And that’s what this latest project looks like it will offer. Sie7e has already confirmed that he’s been in touch with Taboo and seems excited about what they’re planning to create.
“Taboo’s going to record an album in Spanish,” he told People en Español. “And he asked me to contribute a few songs.”
In case you didn’t know, Taboo’s real name is Jaime Luis Gómez and he’s never been shy about his Mexican roots. But will his style mesh well with Sie7e’s laid back surfer grooves? We’re very eager to find out!
