The 2ND ANNUAL GEORGIA LATINO FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ITS 20 FILM PROGRAM AND MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT 2013
Georgia Latino Film Festival announces its 3-day program to take place from Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th 2013. Featuring Films, Workshops, Awards Luncheon Fashionm and performing Seich, Christina Q, and Ricky Luis.
The Georgia Latino Film Festival (GALFF) has released the program for its 2nd Georgia Latino Film Festival which will take place from Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th 2013. The 3-day event will highlight the best films and showcase directors and actors from all over the world, as well as musical talent .

“We are very excited and honored to have this many directors and actors submit their film to our festival and who will be presented at Georgia Latino Film Festival, our committee has worked very hard to make this festival happen, this year is going to be special” said Jose Marquez, Co-founder/Executive Director/Programmer of Georgia Latino Film Festival. “This only goes to prove that Georgia is being seen as a Mecca for the Latino film industry.”
“This is our second year and already there is a buzz about this festival in the Southeast and it just going to keep getting better because of the films workshops being provided.” added Co-founder and Marketing director Lance Robinson .

—At Clark Atlanta University, Georgia Latino Film Festival will screen and hold workshops on technology and producing on a shoestring. Hosted by Dr Ramona Houston and Vince “the Voice” Bailey, This event is open to the public and complimentary for students across the state of Georgia will bring some of the top directors actors and producers to have a candid discussion of the Georgia Film Industry and their role in it.

—-The opening night Reception Friday, October 11th at 6:30pm at the Georgia Pacific Conference Center of Hispanicize HX Kicks off the Georgia Latino Film Festival Hosted by OVNLatino Star Chef, Chef Raul Thomas with Key Speakers which include Legendary Director Felipe Cazals, the viewing of 2012 Film of the Year, The Shooting Star Salesman directed by Kico Velarde and showcasing the versatile talents of Producer, Director, Author, Playwright and Actor, Rick Najera with Musical interludes by Guitar Virtuoso and Singer Seich will serve as the capstone for an impressive lineup that will feature 20 films, including 6 features, 4 documentaries and 10 shorts and one major motion picture premiere.
Saturday at October 12th 2013 9:00am-7:00pm at Georgia Pacific Convention Center and the Venue
—-In addition to the film screenings, the festival will host filmmaker panels on Saturday, October 12th @ Georgia Pacific Conference Center and Sunday, October 13th at the Plaza Theatre . An Awards Luncheon will be on Saturday at the Georgia Pacific Conference Center Honoring legendary Director Felipe Casals of Mexico with the Nuestra Legenda Latina Lifetime Achievement Award.
A diverse selection of award-winning films and shorts make up this year’s program for Saturdays activities.
