Throughout his over 40-year career, the affectionately nicknamed “El Flaco” (Thin Man) influenced and was admired by generations of musicians. His emergence represented the beginning of a musical era that changed the lives of many.
His extensive body of work consists of poetic lyrics, engaging music, and sounds that were different from anything audiences had imagined in the 1960s. His poetry, chords and unmistakable voice opened minds and encouraged many future ground-breaking musicians throughout the history of the Latin American rock movement.
