For some reason or another, there was an uproar after Jay Z and his wife Beyoncé took a picture with the staff at TIDAL headquarters.
Apparently forgetting that their head office is located in Norway, a country that is 86% ethnic Norwegian, fans took to Twitter to accuse Hov of using the race card, while simultaneously employing only white people. Although it really isn’t his fault that Norway isn’t a particularly diverse country, the internet was unforgiving of the New York rapper, firing a variety of insults his way.

In more important news, TIDAL could have serious problems on the business side of things. The streaming company has failed to ink a deal with Sony Music, and if they don’t agree to terms soon it’s possible that the label will pull its artists from the site.
Among those musicians affected will be Jay Z’s wife Beyoncé, who is co-owner of the company. Oh the irony.
