Tiger Army is the first band to ever hold an autograph-signing at Tiki-Ti
The band will release its first ever Tiger Bat tiki mug and first pressing colored
vinyl variant of the ‘Dark Paradise’ EP
Los Angeles, CA (December 10, 2018) — Psychobilly band, Tiger Army surprised fans with a ‘secret‘ announcement last week. The band who is currently working on their sixth studio album announced they will release their first ever tiki mug of their classic ‘TigerBat’ logo with a special autograph signing at the iconic Tiki-Ti bar located in the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles this Thursday, December 13th at 4pm.
The bar is an iconic staple in LA since 1961 and is still family owned and ran by Ray Buhen’s son and grandson. Tiki-Ti is known for their house-made syrups and secret family recipes and Tiki fans from around the world have been known to make pilgrimages there. Tiger Army has been a longtime tiki fan and for the first time ever Tiki-Ti will have a band doing a signing at Tiki-Ti.
The most respected authors of books on tiki culture or drinks such as Martin Cate, Sven Kirsten & Jeff “Beachbum” Berry have all signed there. This is a huge honor for Tiger Army to do an autograph signing and to be the first band ever to do one there.
Tiger Army’s mug is based on the bands logo since 2001, the TigerBat. The logo has become a three-dimensional character for the first time ever in this purple & pink mug, which is limited to 500 pieces.
There will also be a “secret” first pressing colored vinyl variant available of the ‘Dark Paradise’ EP that has been saved for this special occasion. The “Firefly” is a pink glow in the dark vinyl with purple splatter & limited to 300 pieces. It’s named after a drink at Tiki-Ti and matches the color of the mug.
The full band will be signing, it’s the first signing in SoCal since the V •••– album was released in May, 2016.
