‘Two And A Half Men’ Can’t Let Go Of Charlie Sheen: Delusional Jon Cryer Plays Charlie Harper

The past is a hard thing to let go of — and even harder when you’re a popular sitcom, caught in the middle of a star’s full-fledged breakdown.

So, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!

While Charlie Sheen was very publicly killed off “Two and a Half Men,” Charlie Harper hasn’t been forgotten.

On this week’s episode, Charlie’s surviving brother, Alan (played by Jon Cryer) suffered a delusional episode and introduced himself as Charlie after an encounter with a beautiful young lady.

He then went on to have a wild night that both Sheen and Charlie would be proud of but quickly went a little bit insane, even forgetting who Walden (Ashton Kutcher) was.

Then in the ultimate art reflecting life moment, Alan ends up in a mental institution ordering booze and three Asian prostitutes from an imaginary phone. Cryer hangs up, relaxes on his plush hospital bed and tops off the scene with a familiar Sheen-phrase: “Winning!”
