She has tread herself a new path and is creating her own story as a talented singer and song-writer. She sings traditional mariachi, norteño, and ranchera music and was nominated Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album (including Tejano) in 2019 and a Latin Grammy Award in 2020.
