White Stripes Respond to Donald Trump’s Use of ‘Seven Nation Army’

Like a good amount of other rock bands, the White Stripes don’t want their music used in association with Donald Trump. A video (which does not appear to be an official Trump campaign) uses a  “Seven Nation Army” remix prominently.

A message posted on Jack White’s Third Man Records Facebook page reads, “Regarding the use of ‘Seven Nation Army’ in a Donald Trump campaign video, The White Stripes would like to unequivocally state that they have nothing whatsoever to do with this video. They are disgusted by this association, and by the illegal use of their song.”

The White Stripes, who broke up in 2011, released “Seven Nation Army” in 2003; it was on the Elephant album.
