Zach Grenier and Jerry Adler Return To Reprise Their "The Good Wife" Roles In Spinoff Series

There will be two more familiar faces in “The Good Wife” spinoff “The Good Fight.”

“The Good Wife” alums Zach Grenier and Jerry Adler will reprise their respective roles as elder legal statesman David Lee and Howard Lyman as guest stars in the premiere of the upcoming spinoff. As of now, there are no plans for them to do additional episodes beyond the premiere.

“The Good Fight” picks up one year after the events of the final broadcast episode of “The Good Wife.” In the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia, while simultaneously wiping out her mentor Diane Lockharts savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicagos pre-eminent law firms.

Grenier and Adler join stars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Paul Guilfoyle, Bernadette Peters and Erica Tazel.

The series will premiere in February with a special broadcast on the CBS Television Network, then move exclusively to CBS All Access, CBS VOD and live streaming service. Executive Producer Brooke Kennedy is directing the premiere episode.

Grenier and Adler’s castings were first reported by TVLine.
