A powerful new presence has arrived in the heart of Nueva York, bringing some serious cultura to the iconic Times Square. This incredible 12-foot bronze statue, titled “Grounded in the Stars,” is making everyone stop in their tracks and take notice, celebrating the beauty and strength of Black women. This statue honors Black women in a way that’s never been done before in this famous plaza.

Standing tall and proud at Broadway and 46th Street, esta obra de arte was created by British artist Thomas J Price, showing a young Black woman in everyday clothes – we’re talking casual t-shirt and pants, with her pelo trenzado and hands confidently placed on her hips.
