First up, we’ve got the one and only Ivy Queen, the undisputed Queen of Reggaetón. This Boricua powerhouse has been making waves in the music industry for decades, dropping hits like ‘Quiero Bailar’ and ‘La Vida Es Así’ that have become anthems for Latinos everywhere. And now, she’s bringing her fierce flow and unmatched energy to the Stern Auditorium’s Perelman Stage on Nov. 20. It’s going to be a night to remember, amigos!
But wait, there’s more! Grupo Niche, the legendary salsa band straight outta Cali, Colombia, is also making their Carnegie Hall debut. These Grammy Award-winning artists have been keeping the salsa scene alive and kicking since the ’70s with classics like ‘Cali Pachanguero’ and ‘Una Aventura.’ On April 17, 2025, they’ll be taking over the Perelman Stage, and you better believe it’s going to be a party.
And let’s not forget about Monsieur Periné, the Bogota-based group that’s been shaking things up with their unique blend of boleros, swing, and indie music. Their latest album, Bolero Apocalíptico, even snagged them a Latin Grammy for best alternative album. Catch them at Zankel Hall on Feb. 22, 2025, for a night of musical magic.
But these three acts are just the tip of the iceberg, mi gente. The Nuestros Sonidos festival is a celebration of all the incredible sounds, rhythms, and traditions that make Latin culture so vibrant and influential in the United States. From Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic kicking things off on Oct. 8 to Cimafunk and La Tribu closing it out on May 22, 2025, this festival is packed with talent that will make your corazón sing.
So, mark your calendars, grab your tickets, and get ready to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Latin music at Carnegie Hall. It’s going to be a wild ride, amigos, and you won’t want to miss a single beat. ¡Vamos a gozar!
